If you thought Málaga was only about sun, beaches, and espetos, get ready to change your mindset. The capital of the Costa del Sol has established itself as a cultural epicenter, and this year it brings the perfect excuse for a short getaway: the impressive exhibition ‘Picasso. Memoria y Deseo’.

At Coeo, we want you to experience the city not as a tourist, but as a traveler seeking the true essence of the place. That’s why, if you’re passionate about art, this plan has your name written all over it.

A dialogue between past and present at the Picasso Museum

The new exhibition ‘Picasso. Memoria y Deseo’ is not just another modern art exhibition. It’s a fascinating journey that explores how the Málaga-born genius engaged in dialogue with the masters of the past to revolutionize the future. Located in the iconic Picasso Museum, right in the historic city center, this collection offers a window into the soul of Málaga’s most international artist. It will be open to the public from November 14, 2025, to April 12, 2026, for just €13 (general admission).

Here, you won’t just see paintings; you’ll feel the evolution of contemporary art. The exhibition traces the artist’s obsessions, blending tradition with the avant-garde break that made him unique. It’s a visual experience full of color and shapes that will captivate you.

💡 Coeo Tip: Don’t forget your camera or phone! The architecture of the Palacio de Buenavista (the museum’s headquarters) and the exhibited works create the perfect backdrop for your photos. Share your moments and tag your travel community.
