The flavours of Malaga right in your kitchen

A great way to get to know the local cuisine is to try making it in your very own kitchen. We recommend you to head to the central market for some fresh ingredients and enjoy the flavours of Andalucia right in your suite. All the information and precautions that you need to know can be found below.

General Warnings

Ensure that the cooktop is switched off when not in use.

Do not let children touch or play with the cooktop

Do not leave items on top of the cooktop

Take care when boiling water or cooking with oils at a high heat

Never try to extinguish an oil fire with water.
Should something catch on fire please utilise the fire extinguisher outside of your suite and follow the evacuation instructions found inside your suite.

Using the Touch Controls

The controls use touch so you don’t need to apply any pressure. Use the ball of your finger, not its tip. You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered. Make sure the controls are always clean, dry and that there is no object covering them. Even a thin film of water may make the controls difficult to operate.

Using the Cooktop

Touch the ON/OFF control

1) Place your pan on the cooking zone you wish to use. Make sure the bottom of the pan and the surface of the cooking zone are clean and dry.

2) Touch the heating zone selection control followed by the ‘-‘ or the ‘+’ control to set the heat. If you don’t choose a heat setting within 1 minute the induction stove will automatically be switched off. You can modify the heat setting at any time during cooking.

3) When you have finished cooking: touch the heating zone selection control that you wish to switch off. Turn the cooking zone off by pressing the ‘-‘ button until 0. Or alternatively, turn the whole cooktop off by touching the ON/OFF control.

Locking the controls

You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use.

When the controls are locked all the controls except the ON/OFF control are disabled.

To use the lock control: Touch the key lock control, the time indicator will show ‘Lo’.

To unlock the control, hold the key lock control for a few seconds.

Using the timer

1) Make sure the cook top is turned on.

2) Touch the time control, the indicator will start flashing and “10” will be shown on the time display.

3) Set the time by touching the ‘-‘ or ‘+’ control to correspond for each desired minute. The timer cannot exceed 99 minutes.

4) When the time is set, it starts to count down immediately. The display shows the remaining time and the time indicator flashes for 5 seconds.

5) The buzzer beeps for 30 seconds and the time indicator shows ‘- -‘ when the setting time is finished.
