The word Alcazaba comes from Arabic ‘AL-qasbah’ and refers to a fortification within a walled town. The Alcazaba of Malaga is considered as one of the most beautiful Alcazabas that you can visit in Spain. Without a doubt it is one of the historical and iconic monuments of the city, an excellent place to visit and learn more about the history of Malaga.

Can I go to Alcazaba of Malaga without a guided tour?
Yes sure! If you like to explore things at your own pace, you can easily get the entry ticket at the entrance to Alcazaba. But we believe that a guided tour can provide you with more interesting information and after the tour you are free to stay in Alcazaba as much time as you need.
What should I bring to the Alcazaba tour?
We recommend you to bring a lot of water, as the Alcazaba tour is situated in a bit of a hilly area, also comfy shoes to explore this beautiful spot.
What if the weather is bad?
Malaga almost always treats us with good and sunny weather. Most of the time the rain is not heavy, guides are real warriors and do the tour regarding it. But we are more than happy to reschedule the tour for another date for you.
